Compliance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Manchester, England, United Kingdom; Monday to Friday with a mix of remote and office work and occasional attendance at the Manchester office.

What you will do

• Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements with the Head of Compliance and coordinate their implementation across the business.
• Support complaints, Treating Customers Fairly, and vulnerable customer frameworks.
• Partner with the product team to embed compliance requirements into banking and lending products and services.
• Promote a customer-centric culture based on transparency, integrity, and accountability.
• Develop, update, document, and communicate compliance policies and procedures with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance.
• Represent the compliance function in internal and external meetings and contribute to staff training and development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience across compliance areas such as conduct risk, consumer credit regulations, payments, complaints handling, Treating Customers Fairly, conflicts of interest, financial promotions, anti-bribery and corruption, and data protection.
• Regulatory compliance experience in the banking sector.
• Knowledge of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
• Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
• Degree in a relevant subject.
