Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; US-based employment context indicated by benefits and compensation structure.

Compensation: $180,000–$210,000/year plus company equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end product features across React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, databases, and supporting services.
• Own product areas from design and implementation through performance, reliability, and ongoing improvements.
• Make architectural decisions covering data modeling, API design, and GCP infrastructure.
• Translate complex healthcare, clinical, and operational workflows into simple user and partner experiences.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features into production applications.
• Improve engineering standards through code reviews, design feedback, mentoring, and technical sponsorship.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend.
• Solid experience with relational databases and cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
• Experience owning features end-to-end and making architectural trade-offs independently.
• Production experience building or integrating AI-powered features, including LLM workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, or ML-assisted automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with healthcare data, HIPAA, or other regulated environments.
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
