Senior AI/ML Engineers – Autonomous Systems | Germany (AI/ML, robotics): Building and deploying machine-learning systems for autonomous air, land, and maritime platforms with an accent on computer vision, edge inference, sensor integration, and production ML infrastructure. Focus on training deep-learning models, optimising inference for constrained hardware, and taking prototypes through field-ready deployment on real autonomous systems.
Location: Munich/Gilching, Berlin, Göppingen, or Rostock, Germany; onsite presence expected approximately 3–4 days per week.

What you will do
- Productionise computer-vision and deep-learning models for autonomous platforms.
- Integrate sensors and work with geospatial, imagery, LiDAR, telemetry, and sensor-fusion data.
- Build cloud infrastructure, ML training pipelines, and GPU environments.
- Optimise model inference for resource-constrained edge hardware.
- Deploy and test AI systems across drones, ground robotics, and emerging maritime platforms.
- Collaborate with ML, embedded software, hardware, and flight-testing specialists.
Requirements
- Professional experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, data engineering, or platform engineering.
- Strong Python, C++, or Rust skills.
- Experience with deep learning, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale data.
- Ability to take solutions from prototype through field-ready deployment.
- Interest in autonomous systems and solving problems on real hardware.
- Ability to work onsite in Germany approximately 3–4 days per week.
Nice to have
- Personal projects involving drones, autonomous-drone competitions, robotics, computer vision, or edge hardware.
- Previous defence or aerospace experience is not required.
