Perception Engineer Intern (Computer Vision)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize computer vision and perception algorithms.
• Develop and test object detection, tracking, and recognition models using modern techniques.
• Research emerging computer vision methods through literature reviews and algorithm benchmarking.
• Experiment with novel approaches to object detection and perception.
• Train and evaluate models using large datasets.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to integrate vision algorithms into production systems.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Python and C/C++.
• Understanding of image processing, feature extraction, computer vision, and perception systems.
• Experience with object detection algorithms such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or SSD.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, or 3D perception.
• Experience with OpenCV and GPU acceleration using CUDA.
• Basic knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, deep neural networks, hyperparameter tuning, or agentic AI.
