Enterprise Architect for AI Cloud Infrastructure (AI): Designing, automating, and operating high-speed network infrastructure for an industrial AI cloud serving European manufacturers with an accent on InfiniBand, RoCE, firewalls, routing, and data center operations. Focus on building reliable automation and observability for large-scale AI/HPC networks, coordinating platform deployments, and solving complex lifecycle and availability challenges.

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Base salary from €3,100 gross per month, depending on seniority and experience; variable compensation and additional financial benefits are provided.

What you will do

• Design, provision, automate, and operate network infrastructure for an industrial AI cloud.
• Manage InfiniBand and Ethernet/RoCE fabrics, switches, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco border gateways, and related interconnections.
• Coordinate network lifecycle activities, including installations, upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and configuration backups.
• Build automation, monitoring, observability, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for reliable infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with data center, IaaS, PaaS, platform, and AI solution teams to deliver and continuously improve services.
• Act as a technical lead, advise customers, coordinate cross-team activities, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Hands-on experience with network installation, maintenance, operations, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA, low-latency networking, data center routing, BGP, OSPF, ASNs, IP transit, peering, and failover connectivity.
• Experience with Linux, firewalls and security, monitoring, incident detection, and root-cause analysis.
• Practical scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• English at B2 level is required; remote work is restricted to Slovakia.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with UFM, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco or Juniper routers, Grafana, Prometheus, and software-defined networking.
