What you will do

• Lead the architecture, engineering, and rollout of production-grade automation software across a multi-vendor network estate
• Establish coding conventions and design flexible, extensible software architectures for the network team
• Create reusable Python libraries and internal platforms to support organization-wide automation
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline and accelerate software delivery
• Guide and coach fellow engineers in adopting current software development methodologies and best practices
• Drive technical decision-making and construct solutions from the ground up to improve engineering workflows

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep hands-on Python development
• Proven track record of delivering production-level applications, platforms, or frameworks
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) along with API integrations
• Practical understanding of networking principles and APIs (e.g., Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper Mist)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development approaches (e.g., Claude Code)
• Must be based in the USA; no sponsorship available
