ASIC Analog Layout Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Region around Regensburg, Germany; hybrid and cross-border mobile work are possible.

What you will do

• Integrate analog and mixed-signal layouts at block and chip level.
• Define top-level floorplans, padframes, bonding diagrams, and pin placement.
• Coordinate layout engineers and drive floorplan development across domains.
• Perform parasitic extraction, layout optimization, and design-rule verification.
• Support DRC, LVS, tape-out, and silicon-quality activities.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to meet speed, area, power, DFM, ESD, and EMC requirements.

Requirements

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, or a comparable field.
• Long-term experience in analog layout design and proven top-level layout integration experience.
• Strong expertise in BCD technologies from 65 nm to 180 nm.
• Deep understanding of parasitics, coupling, matching, and other deep-submicron effects.
• Proficiency with layout, DRC, LVS, and extraction tools, plus knowledge of analog circuit design.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
