ASIC Technical Project Manager (Automotive)

Location: Regensburg region, Germany; hybrid and cross-border mobile work available

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional ASIC and IC R&D teams across requirements engineering, architecture, design, verification, IP integration, and tool support.
• Plan and execute development projects to meet cost, schedule, quality, and automotive compliance targets.
• Manage budgets, effort estimates, tools, licenses, hardware, work orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, report status to the Program Manager, and coordinate regular and milestone-based reviews.
• Manage risks, configuration, and changes, including participation in Change Control Board meetings.
• Improve ASIC development processes, work products, templates, reviews, and maturity-level governance.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a comparable field.
• Long-term experience in ASIC/IC development and technical project management, preferably in automotive product development.
• Strong knowledge of IC design methodology, analog circuit design, EDA tools, CMOS technologies, and BCD technologies.
• Experience with functional safety, FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, ISO 26262, PPAP, AEC-Q100, mission profiles, and environmental stress testing.
• Experience with project and process modelling tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and ARMS Stages.
• Business-fluent German and English, written and spoken, required.
