Project Manager Electronic Warfare Ground Systems

What you will do

• Develop, integrate, and deliver high-end electronic warfare software for platforms including Eurofighter, Tornado, and A400M.
• Support the full mission cycle from mission planning through execution and post-analysis, including human-machine interface solutions.
• Identify technical risks affecting project cost or schedule and define mitigation actions.
• Coordinate engineering, quality, and other engineering teams as the primary liaison and ensure project execution against committed contracts.
• Lead assigned engineers in a matrix organization using Scrum, define sprint content, and agree on system architecture with the team.
• Monitor technical work, test product readiness against requirements and milestones, and support RFQ responses and commercial proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a comparable science.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering or product ownership, ideally in aerospace, defense, or IT services.
• Strong familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Project management certification, with at least IPMA Level D or equivalent, and knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques.
• Deep understanding of systems engineering for software products.
• Proven experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and applying project management tools such as kick-off meetings, milestone trend analysis, resource planning, and quality gate reviews.
• Ability to analyze complex technical architectures and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for influencing stakeholders across Engineering, PMO, and customers.
• Knowledge of team dynamics and management.
