Customer Integration Engineer (Automotive AI)

Location: Leonberg, Germany; full-time role based in the office with a hybrid working policy.

hirify.global develops embodied AI software and foundation models that enable vehicles to perceive, understand, and navigate complex environments for automated driving.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical support throughout customer integration, development, and validation.
• Act as the bridge between customer vehicle integration teams and hirify.global’s internal engineering teams.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the hirify.global AI Driver and customer vehicle systems.
• Lead investigations, escalate critical issues, and identify root causes across vehicle and software components.
• Build a deep understanding of customer systems and APIs, including drive-by-wire interfaces.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams and travel as required.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience with development vehicles and automotive systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and calibration tools such as CANape or similar.
• Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, vehicle communication protocols, and automotive system architectures.
• Experience using terminals and willingness to develop basic programming skills.
• Practical automotive experience, ideally including bringing products into production.
