What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain performant, responsive Angular components and Lit HTML elements.
• Own frontend-to-backend integration through OpenAPI-defined APIs, data contracts, authentication flows, and microservices.
• Make targeted changes to FastAPI services, endpoints, response models, data models, and queries.
• Contribute to full-stack architecture, API design, data access patterns, observability, and performance budgets.
• Review code across frontend and backend, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with Backend, DevOps, Product, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through documentation and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack engineering.
• Strong Angular experience and familiarity with component-based frameworks such as Lit HTML.
• Experience with responsive design, UX/UI principles, APIs, REST, HTTP, authentication flows, microservices, and error handling.
• Working proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and strong problem-solving, communication, and independent collaboration skills.
• Strong English communication skills and availability to work in a hybrid setup within commuting distance of Amsterdam are required.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Understanding of UX patterns for AI-powered features.
• Experience with Neo4j, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, or GitHub Actions.
