Lead Fullstack Engineer (Remote NL/UK Based)

What you will do

• Lead feature development end to end, including scope definition, architectural decisions, prioritization, and post-launch outcome ownership.
• Use AI agents and tooling in daily engineering work and help the wider team adopt effective AI-assisted development practices.
• Coach engineers through pairing, code reviews, delegation, and direct feedback.
• Identify inefficient processes, build support for improvements, and measure their impact.
• Partner with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager on roadmap decisions, technical trade-offs, and overlooked problems.
• Connect delivered work to company goals through clearly defined and measured outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at product companies.
• Current or recent experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, Tech Lead, Senior Full Stack Engineer, Senior Product Engineer, or similar.
• Deep technical and software architecture knowledge, including system trade-offs and behavior under load.
• Practical experience using AI tools, agents, models, and harnesses, with careful review of outputs affecting data, money, or authentication.
• Experience coaching peers and driving measurable improvements in team ways of working.
• Strong communication, constructive disagreement, prioritization judgment, and proactive ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience at a fast-growing SaaS or B2B product company.
• Experience running evaluations, monitoring inference costs, or handling production model failure modes such as hallucinations.
• Experience acting as the technical counterpart to a Product Manager or Engineering Manager on a roadmap.
