TL;DR
Data Engineer (Greenplum/SQL/Python): Developing and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and Greenplum data marts for reliable analytics and reporting with an accent on distributed MPP architecture, incremental loading, and data modeling. Focus on query-plan analysis, partitioning, data-skew mitigation, pipeline orchestration, and data-quality SLAs.
Location: Tashkent; onsite, remote, or hybrid work options are available.

What you will do
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation based on source-system specifications.
- Implement Greenplum data-mart prototypes in production, including SQL refactoring, incremental loading, and idempotency.
- Optimize Greenplum queries and data marts through distribution keys, partitioning, execution-plan analysis, and resource configuration.
- Configure pipeline orchestration, monitoring, and alerting for large-volume data processing.
- Perform data-quality checks and maintain data-mart freshness SLAs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong SQL skills, advanced Python, and experience working with large tables and complex queries.
- Extensive Greenplum experience, including distributed architecture, MPP systems, partitioning, query optimization, VACUUM/ANALYZE, and append-optimized and column-oriented tables.
- Experience with data warehouses, Data Vault, star and snowflake schemas, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
- English: Intermediate level or above required. Ability to analyze source-system documentation and write clear technical specifications.
