Junior Editor, YouTube (Video Production)

Location: Kew, London, United Kingdom; four days a week in the office and one day working from home. The role may include weekend work and schedule flexibility based on production requirements. Contract period: mid-September 2026 to 26 June 2027.

What you will do

• Create high-quality, creative sports edits, including compilations, match highlights and social clips in multiple aspect ratios.
• Produce a consistent stream of content for a high-profile rugby client’s YouTube channel.
• Use archive footage to develop compilation content focused on increasing YouTube watch time and revenue.
• Edit content specifically for YouTube and stay aligned with platform trends across digital and social channels.
• Develop quality control skills and identify technical or editorial issues before publication.
• Manage workload and deliver content within the production schedule, collaborating with the wider team.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and a commitment to continuously improving editing skills.
• Experience or comfort with cutting sports compilations, match highlights and social clips in varied aspect ratios.
• Strong understanding of YouTube content and editing conventions.
• Familiarity with postproduction workflows and technical infrastructure.
• Excellent attention to detail, quality control, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of rugby union and the ability to identify engaging moments and narratives for a broad audience.

• Knowledge and enthusiasm for a wide range of sports.
• Up-to-date knowledge of new industry technologies.
• Passion for digital and social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
