AI FinOps Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; 36 or 40 hours per week.

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Develop governance and reporting approaches for GenAI and agentic AI use cases.
• Create dashboards and KPIs covering AI cost, usage, value, and sustainability impact.
• Analyse AI and cloud workloads with engineering teams to identify cost and emissions improvements.
• Advise business, finance, architecture, and technology stakeholders on efficiency, value, and sustainability.
• Develop practical guidance for transparent, cost-conscious, and sustainable AI usage.

Requirements

• Experience with AI, GenAI, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of cloud economics, FinOps, and cost observability.
• Experience translating data into reporting, forecasting, business cases, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and sufficient technical understanding of AI architectures and service consumption models.
• Strong ownership, solution-focused thinking, and ability to collaborate across business, finance, and technology.

Nice to have

• Experience working at hirify.global.
• Knowledge of KQL, Azure Log Analytics, or Azure Bicep.
• FinOps certification.
