What you will do

• Lead customer projects by designing and delivering production-grade data, AI, and application systems.
• Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
• Build reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion pipelines, and ML/AI integrations.
• Work with customers, project managers, architects, engineering, product, support, and developer relations teams to deliver technical engagements.
• Embed with customer teams, translate business and technical challenges into measurable outcomes, and support adoption of Databricks solutions.
• Create reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that scale across accounts and inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
• Ability to code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems among AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
• Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs, and production end-to-end data architectures.
• Experience delivering technical projects for enterprise clients, managing scope and timelines, documenting solutions, and handling stakeholder conflicts.
