Principal Product Manager, Security and Identity Platform

Location: United States; remote workplace.

Base compensation: $190,000–$250,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for authentication, authorization, identity, access, and entitlement capabilities.
• Define scalable enterprise identity experiences, including federated authentication, provisioning, directory integrations, and SCIM workflows.
• Drive auditability, least-privilege access, organization isolation, customer data protection, and secure deployment models.
• Shape product direction for regional hosting, encryption, AI processing, and customer-managed infrastructure.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Security, enterprise customers, and senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and resolve trade-offs.
• Lead complex platform initiatives from early definition through delivery while demonstrating measurable customer impact.

Requirements

• Significant product management experience building and scaling enterprise identity, access, authentication, security, or comparable platform capabilities.
• Experience building products or platforms from early stages in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT, RBAC, ABAC, and MFA.
• Hands-on familiarity with enterprise identity platforms such as Auth0 and Okta, including federated identity models.
• Experience with regulated or security-conscious enterprise customers and requirements related to compliance, data protection, and secure infrastructure.
• Strong executive communication, product judgment, customer empathy, and ability to influence technical and business decisions.
