Location: Sevenoaks, UK, with hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30, 37.5 hours per week. Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: £26,350–£34,800 per year, plus up to £2,000 annual performance-related bonus after establishing proficiency in the role.

What you will do

• Manage investigations and a portfolio of suspected fraud claims from referral through final outcome.
• Assess claims, intelligence, and referrals to determine appropriate investigation strategies.
• Work with investigative service providers and provide clear instructions to support claim validation.
• Maintain accurate reserves, communications, files, service levels, and investigation records.
• Minimise claims leakage while maximising savings and repudiations within agreed counter-fraud strategies.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of the counter-fraud function.

Requirements

• Good understanding of claims handling, including indemnity, liability, credit hire, property damage, first-party, and bodily injury claims.
• Sound technical judgement, effective portfolio management, and strong file discipline.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work independently with minimal support.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Understanding of intelligence and investigative tools used to validate claims.
• At least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.
