hirify.global is hiring a Management Accountant to join a North East finance team.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting commentary.
• Own month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Manage and report daily cash flow.
• Handle VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations.
• Perform financial and operational analysis to support business performance and review payment runs to maintain strong controls.
• Support year-end audit requirements and drive process improvements, including automation and AI adoption.

Requirements

• Previous management accounting experience.
• AAT Level 4 or studying ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis).
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders across the business.
