C++ Software Engineer (ESET PROTECT on-prem)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: From €3,000 gross per month, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% paid twice per year.

What you will do

• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop and improve hirify.global PROTECT on-prem using modern C++.
• Design software components using object-oriented programming and established design patterns.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Create and maintain unit tests and support product reliability.
• Collaborate in an agile, self-organizing team to propose and evaluate new technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT.
• Professional experience with C++11 or newer.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, unit testing, and common software development principles.
• English communication skills required.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux.
• Programming experience with Python or Rust.
