Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first role available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Ukraine.

Salary: €6,500–€9,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

hirify.global develops Kimchi, an AI platform providing managed multi-model inference, an OpenAI-compatible API, and deployment across company GPUs or customer VPCs.

What you will do

• Develop and operate the inference API that delivers AI services reliably at scale.
• Design distributed systems and datastores for workloads ranging from individual developers to large enterprises.
• Build billing, usage metering, and role-based controls for monitoring and governing consumption.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance using query profiles, flame graphs, and observability data.
• Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing and production rollout.

Requirements

• Production experience with Go or TypeScript, or strong systems programming experience in a comparable language.
• Strong debugging, optimization, query profiling, index design, and database performance-tuning skills beyond ORM usage.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes experience is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal English skills and experience driving a complex project end-to-end are required.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes.
