Forward Deployed Engineer, Professional Services (Cloudflare Workers)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal; the role includes hands-on onsite customer engagement and an in-person interview may be required at a hirify.global office or hub.

Salary: €80,000–€110,000 gross annual salary for Portugal-based hires.

What you will do

• Advise strategic enterprise customers on hirify.global solutions, especially Workers and Workers AI.
• Lead architecture discussions, design sessions, and solution reviews for customer environments.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and develop strategic solutions with Support and Product teams.
• Manage complex configurations and use Terraform for infrastructure automation and operational stability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partners, Product Management, and Engineering to represent customer needs.
• Guide customers on security, network optimization, scalability, and performance best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect or Technical Account Manager.
• Strong background in cloud networking, security, web infrastructure, and hirify.global’s application and security portfolio.
• Hands-on experience securing web applications, APIs, and web services with WAF, DDoS, DNS, CDN, and Bot Management tools.
• Experience working with enterprise-level accounts and solving complex technical problems in customer environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical, scalable solutions aligned with hirify.global technology.

Nice to have

• Coding experience and hands-on experience with hirify.global Workers or Workers AI.
• Prior experience working onsite with customers.
