Head of Manufacturing Excellence

Location: On-site in Poland or Stuttgart, Germany

International technology manufacturer of security systems, producing hardware and software solutions for intrusion protection, video surveillance, fire and life safety, comfort, and automation.

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and govern the company-wide Manufacturing System architecture.
• Develop, approve, release, and review manufacturing standards, procedures, and daily management routines.
• Own core manufacturing processes including shift handovers, escalation, production meetings, problem solving, visual management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage end-to-end changes, from impact assessment and approvals through pilot testing, documentation updates, and rollout across sites.
• Support Plant Managers with site-level execution, compliance, training, and governance.
• Collect and integrate improvement proposals from plant operations.

Requirements

• On-site availability in Poland or Stuttgart, Germany.
• 3–5+ years of experience in operational excellence, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or manufacturing engineering within a multi-site or global manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of daily management, Gemba, Asaichi, layered process audits, Leader Standard Work, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Experience owning change management frameworks across multiple plants, from pilot execution to global rollout.
• Strong process architecture, governance documentation, SOP, and audit system design skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, including influencing Plant Managers and leading training.
