About the Role

You will monitor proprietary trading algorithms and systems in production, manage positions through trading technology, and ensure risk limits are met. You will monitor market activity, share trading ideas, collaborate on issues with quantitative developers, and help improve trading technology when you have coding experience.

Requirements

• B.A. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related area
• Ability to focus for multiple hours in a day
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility in working schedule
• Proactivity
• Ability to learn quickly
• Coding experience in Python, Matlab, or a similar scripting language
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Experience monitoring and managing risk in a trading or investment management environment
• Experience in trading

Responsibilities

• Monitor trading algorithms in production to ensure they work as expected
• Manage positions through trading technology and ensure risk limits are met
• Monitor market activity and provide trading ideas to improve algorithms and strategies
• Work with quantitative developers to resolve trading-technology issues
• Help develop and fix trading technology when you have coding experience
