What you will do

• Develop quantitative models and expand the desk’s product offering for new client trades.
• Analyze and implement trading strategies for synthetic products and equity swaps.
• Build and maintain automated trading systems and operational tools.
• Automate desk processes to improve operational scale and reduce costs.
• Calculate and attribute profit and loss and monitor real-time and daily risk.
• Collaborate with bankers, traders, portfolio managers, sales, finance, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational finance, quantitative finance, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using mathematics, statistics, and programming.
• Typically 1–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of fixed-income and bond mathematics.
• Experience developing models for bespoke financial products and working in the finance industry is valuable.
