Senior Consultant - Healthcare Experience Management: Partnering with health plans and provider organizations to improve member, provider, and patient experience using data-driven insights with an accent on analytics, process design, and performance improvement. Focus on constructing payer analytics including authorization metrics and denial rates, training teams on best practices, and delivering strategic recommendations.
Location: Remote (U.S. based), hybrid for those near US hub locations (Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; South Bend, IN) three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu). Travel up to 50% nationally.
Salary: $130,000–$175,000

What you will do
- Utilize and client data to consult stakeholders on industry changes, improvements, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with health plans and medical groups for data analysis, interpretation, process design, and solving business problems.
- Construct and lead data analysis for payer analytics, authorization metrics, denial rates, and behavior assessments.
- Train client teams on patient experience best practices and process improvement with active engagement.
- Manage engagement plans including timelines, deliverables, budget, and outcomes; prepare client deliverables like analyses and presentations.
- Build and manage client relationships, serve as point of contact, and influence stakeholders with risks and recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in experience management (Patient/Member/Brand Experience) in health plans or provider organizations
- Expertise in brand experience, member/patient acquisition/retention, health plans improvement, Medicare Stars/NCQA, market research, or experience design
- Experience training/coaching member/patient-facing teams and driving performance improvement initiatives
- Strong data analytic skills (Excel, Access, SQL, SAS); advanced MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred (business admin, health policy, finance, or clinical)
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to priorities, and travel up to 50% nationally
