What you will do
- Establish and support user communities, science teams, and scientific activities for exploration missions.
- Define science objectives and requirements and translate them into technical baselines and system requirements.
- Assess system performance against science requirements and contribute to reviews and the Science Management Plan.
- Coordinate Announcements of Opportunity, peer reviews, and selection processes for experiments, science teams, and projects.
- Prepare science operations, data pipelines, and scientific data distribution for community utilization.
- Support mission research, science operations, and post-operations users through the ESA archive.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong documented experience coordinating scientific activities and teams.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage scientific users and stakeholders.
- Expertise in lunar science, including lunar geology or geophysics.
- Expertise in space resources, such as experimental chemical processes for producing materials or oxygen from extraterrestrial materials.
- Fluent English is mandatory.

- Knowledge of another European language.
