Remote Sensing Scientist (GEOINT)

Location: Wright-Patt AFB, OH - NASIC (Onsite)

What you will do

• Analyze and exploit remotely sensed data using advanced GEOINT tools to produce and disseminate products.
• Develop and improve non-literal spectral, thermal, and SAR analytical processes and techniques.
• Provide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process development.
• Develop algorithms for complex data exploitation processes.
• Analyze anomalous and difficult datasets utilizing engineering principles and a physics-based analytical approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a STEM field (Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Remote Sensing, or related).
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data.
• Understanding of signal processing techniques for solving new problems.
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ENVI, ArcGIS, and/or similar software tools.
• Ability to code or script in Python, IDL, etc.
• Experience in the interpretation of image-based data.
