Insurance Strategy Lead (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the New York City metropolitan area; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $138,200–$190,100 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead large, high-impact workstreams from problem structuring and analysis through recommendations.
• Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal performance data to guide strategic decisions.
• Develop data-driven recommendations and communicate findings to senior leaders and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to transition strategy into execution and measurable business impact.
• Support annual strategic planning and ongoing business reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of full-time experience at a leading management or strategy consulting firm, plus 2–3 years of additional full-time experience using core strategy consulting skills.
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentation experience.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
• Experience managing significant workstreams or independent projects.

Nice to have

• MBA, MPH, or another relevant advanced degree.
• Healthcare experience, particularly in managed care or provider organizations.
• Experience leading strategy projects from concept through execution.
