Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Investigate significant material cost variances and maintain cost-performance scorecards.
• Review monthly job costing reports and compare actual costs with budgets.
• Conduct monthly stock reviews and support accurate inventory valuation.
• Support the monthly financial close and prepare quarterly internal and external audit reports.
• Prepare standard costs, underlying data, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses.
• Coordinate inventory activities, cycle counts, adjustments, and cross-department processing with management and Inventory Control.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience specializing in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing cost structures.
• Good command of English and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment and participate in warehouse audit cycle counts.

Nice to have

• Experience with intercompany profit and inventory management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Expandable.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures in a manufacturing environment.
