Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Manage month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting to identify discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules.
• Maintain and update accounting procedures and process documentation.
• Assist in finance system upgrades and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be authorized to work in Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MIA.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
