Director, Field Engineering (CPG & Retail)

What you will do

• Lead first-line Managers and a growing team of pre-sales Solutions Architects.
• Develop a high-performing Field Engineering organization focused on Retail and CPG customers.
• Build executive relationships and support complex enterprise sales opportunities and strategic account expansion.
• Help customers advance data and AI strategies across customer experience, merchandising, supply chain, demand forecasting, marketing, and operations.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive strategy, execution, and customer outcomes.
• Establish scalable operating processes, customer feedback loops, and performance practices for a rapidly growing technical field organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of second-line leadership experience managing teams of 30 or more, plus 10 or more years of overall leadership experience.
• Experience leading high-growth enterprise software pre-sales organizations in Retail, CPG, cloud, data, analytics, or AI.
• Experience with large-scale data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation initiatives for Retail or CPG customers.
• Track record of driving strategic enterprise transactions, expanding accounts, and delivering measurable customer value.
• Strong executive communication, operational leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
