Senior IT Project Manager – Legacy System Modernization (Legacy Migration/Banking): Leading large-scale legacy migration and IT obsolescence projects for a major financial group with an accent on delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and risk control. Focus on modernizing complex banking systems, managing cross-functional teams and resources, and delivering transformation initiatives on time and within budget.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work model of up to three remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in Europe.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale legacy migration and IT obsolescence projects.
- Align initiatives with senior stakeholders across international banking environments.
- Establish project management methodologies, change control, and risk mitigation practices.
- Manage project teams, resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Contribute to consulting service development and improve project delivery approaches.
- Capture lessons learned and support internal knowledge-sharing practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in large corporations or financial groups.
- Proven experience with legacy system migration and IT obsolescence projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in international and banking environments.
- Fluent English and French are mandatory.
- Existing legal right to work in Europe is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a hybrid Lisbon-based setup, with up to three remote days per week.
