Consultant – R&D (Technology/Software) (R&D tax consulting): Preparing and managing technology-focused R&D tax claims, reports, project descriptions, and client communications with an accent on software expertise, structured analysis, and HMRC-aligned documentation. Location: London, United Kingdom, with up to 100 remote days per year

What you will do
- Build client relationships throughout the sales and delivery process.
- Request and analyze information related to R&D tax claims.
- Liaise with government tax authorities on clients’ behalf.
- Prepare structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions, and technical justifications.
- Manage claim adjustments based on determined tax liabilities.
- Track innovative developments and current affairs across key global technology sectors.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in consulting or R&D.
- Technology-related bachelor’s degree, such as computer science or information technology.
- Technical understanding of a technology or software specialization.
- Ability to work collaboratively, follow structured methodologies, and align with client needs.
- Curiosity, critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

- Background in IT or software industries.
- Experience with consulting processes or R&D tax.
