Location: On-site in Billerica, Massachusetts, 5 days per week

What you will do

• Assemble printed circuit boards using process instructions, drawings, and visual aids.
• Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering, de-soldering, and component replacement.
• Conduct first-piece and final inspections using microscopes for SMT components.
• Support R&D, Engineering, and Test teams with prototype and unreleased products.
• Identify defective materials, perform self-inspection, and implement ECO/MV changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, material inspection, training, and special projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of printed circuit board assembly experience.
• Expertise in soldering, including surface-mount and through-hole work.
• ISO 9000 certification and basic knowledge of ESD practices.
• Ability to read operational procedures, manufacturing drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, written communication, and collaboration skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; able to meet physical requirements including extended standing and lifting up to 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and 5S.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control principles.
• Experience training less experienced assemblers.
