What you will do

• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, servo systems, industrial networks, and machine vision systems.
• Implement low- to medium-complexity control logic, interface, and process-parameter modifications under validation and change-control procedures.
• Support initiatives improving scrap reduction, OEE, poka-yoke implementation, traceability, and critical process control.
• Maintain automation documentation, backups, parameter lists, electrical diagrams, work instructions, manuals, and maintenance records.
• Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
• Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance while ensuring safety, quality, standards compliance, and equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of industrial automation experience; internships and co-op experience are considered.
• Basic to intermediate PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, communication networks, and electrical schematics.
• Basic to intermediate technical English proficiency required.
• Availability to provide support outside normal working hours when required by operations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent automation platforms.
• Exposure to manufacturing, preferably automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with continuous improvement or automation projects, machine vision, process monitoring, or traceability systems.
• Knowledge of structured troubleshooting and problem-solving methods.
