What you will do

• Review project and product design requirements to create initial and final concept designs.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including Bill of Materials, layouts, and schematic drawings.
• Write and implement software for PLCs, HMIs, CNCs, robots, and other peripherals.
• Perform design calculations and conduct software testing to ensure equipment performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to innovate and implement new engineering ideas.
• Maintain high standards of integrity and cooperation in all professional relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in designing and reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong electrical aptitude and familiarity with machine controls and wiring methods.
• Ability to program PLCs, HMIs, CNCs, and Robots.
• Competence in CAD, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Must be able to work on-site in Grand Rapids, MI and travel on a limited basis.
