Risk Data Analyst, Staff (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first

Salary: $159,200–$191,052 in Zone 1; $143,300–$171,900 in Zone 2; $135,300–$162,400 in Zone 3, depending on geographic zone.

What you will do

• Consolidate data from multiple source systems into accurate and consistent Risk Operations data models.
• Create automated reports and Tableau dashboards for risk operations.
• Turn risk data into actionable insights and data stories for business leaders and customers.
• Partner with Risk Operations leaders to support fraud detection and prevention.
• Gather requirements, prioritize requests, and manage the analytics roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or another technical field.
• 8 years of analytics or data science experience, or 5+ years with a master’s degree.
• Advanced experience engineering SQL pipelines; dbt experience is highly valued.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, preferably Tableau, and presenting data insights to business leaders.
• Experience with fraud and risk platforms such as DataVisor and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Zendesk.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with terminal-based AI tools, especially Claude Code CLI.
• Experience using Claude Cowork or Code to automate SQL documentation, dbt model summaries, and risk insight narratives.
