Senior Python & C# Developer (Fintech)

Location: Porto, Portugal, hybrid with up to 3 remote days per week; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and test key application components in Python and C#.
• Gather, document, and analyze requirements within an Agile environment.
• Optimize application performance and improve existing processes.
• Write and execute unit, integration, and functional automated tests using pytest, NUnit, and Selenium.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders through workshops and knowledge sharing.
• Manage source code and deployment processes using Git, XL Release, and XL Deploy.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience focused on Python and C#.
• Strong SQL/T-SQL skills and experience with ORM or micro-ORM tools.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, especially Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Web API, source code management, and deployment tools.
• Good understanding of TFS or similar build and release management platforms.
• Fluent English at a minimum B2 level and existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Telerik Kendo UI experience.
• Certifications or additional expertise in automated testing or DevOps.
