Business Intelligence Engineer 2 (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required. A dedicated workspace and reliable internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.

Salary: $66,800–$91,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Maintain key datasets, data products, pipelines, and automation supporting care management and clinical programs.
• Investigate and analyze multiple data sources and combine them into a single source of truth.
• Build scalable automated pipelines and data enablement solutions using SQL, Python or PySpark, SAS, and Databricks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for partner teams using and interpreting enterprise data.
• Assess complex datasets and perform root cause analysis.
• Support decision-makers in evaluating the clinical, operational, and financial impact of healthcare programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Less than five years of technical experience in data analysis and/or data engineering.
• At least one year of experience with SQL or SAS.
• At least one year of experience with Python or PySpark.
• At least one year of experience with Databricks and automated pipeline development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and a strong ability to assess complex data.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions.
