Research Facility Systems Coordinator (PPMS/research operations): Coordinating the daily operation of the Pasteur Platform Management System and related research facility services with an accent on operational administration, data quality, reporting, and user support. Location: Oxford Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of PPMS and related research facility systems.
- Provide administrative and operational support for research facilities and respond to user queries.
- Maintain accurate information about services, equipment, and contacts across multiple teams.
- Support consistent processes, reporting, and data quality across research facilities.
- Work with the Expert Technical Specialist for Research Facility Reporting on service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience supporting a shared service, booking, asset, or operational management system.
- Experience maintaining accurate technical service, equipment, or contact records across multiple teams.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across a large organisation.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with strong digital skills.
- Existing right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience using PPMS or a similar research facility or service management system.
- Experience in research support or technical services within higher education.
- Experience contributing to service improvement or process development.
- Experience with workflow or service management systems such as ServiceNow.
