TL;DR
IT Specialist (Programmer/Operator) (Cybersecurity) (cloud and infrastructure security): Maintaining secure cloud environments, government-connected networks, workstations, applications, and training-system platforms with an accent on cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and secure systems administration. Focus on configuring IAM and network defenses, conducting ACAS scans and risk assessments, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance with DoD, NIST, STIG, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP requirements.
Location: Altus, Oklahoma, USA; only U.S. citizens are eligible. Work is performed in a professional office and training environment. Domestic and international travel, overtime, alternate shifts, or weekend work may be required.

What you will do
- Design, deploy, and administer secure cloud environments across SharePoint, CloudOne, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Maintain servers, workstations, applications, learning platforms, scheduling tools, websites, inventory databases, and network infrastructure.
- Configure IAM, MFA, RBAC, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and other technical security controls.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, security audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning, including ACAS reporting and POA&M remediation plans.
- Develop incident response procedures, investigate threats, implement compensating controls, and support rapid mitigation.
- Provide end-user support and technical guidance while maintaining system documentation, inventories, backups, and compliance records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT or related environments.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contract requirements.
- Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain an Information Assurance Technician Level III certification within six months after completing probation.
- Experience with cloud environments and the ability to work independently, including occasional overtime, alternate shifts, or weekends.
Nice to have
- Experience with Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Linux and Windows server administration, and large-scale storage technologies.
- Knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, STIG, and SRG security frameworks.
- Experience with network analysis, design, tuning, migration, systems integration, and Ethernet networking.
- Understanding of military protocols and customs.
