Business Insurance Marketing Associate

Location: Nashville, Tennessee; applicants must live within driving distance and commute to the office at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Develop business insurance placement solutions with marketing leaders and production teams.
• Review upcoming renewals with producers and account managers and formulate marketing and renewal strategies.
• Prepare new business and renewal applications, supplemental information, quotes, proposals, coverage comparisons, and benchmarking materials.
• Maintain relationships with authorized carriers and communicate carrier pricing, products, directives, and guidelines.
• Enter rating and account information into automated processing and agency management systems.
• Complete surplus lines filings, document files, and provide backup support to production teams.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a Business Insurance Account Manager role, including marketing and placement support.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills, customer service ability, attention to detail, urgency, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Intermediate industry and product knowledge and established carrier relationships.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with agency management systems such as Sagitta, ImageRight, AMS 360, EPIC, or Indio.
• Ability to work from within driving distance of the Nashville office and commute at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Commercial rating experience.
• Advanced insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, AU, ARM, or CRM.
• Intermediate knowledge of Reference Connect and Mod Master.
