What you will do

• Support the development, promotion, and implementation of university and faculty research and innovation strategies.
• Help researchers identify and articulate the wider societal, economic, behavioural, environmental, and policy benefits of their work.
• Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and events on research impact.
• Coordinate processes for recording, reviewing, and evaluating impact activities, evidence, and narratives.
• Support internal and external research assessments, reporting, and award nominations.
• Work with academic, research, and professional services colleagues to strengthen proposals with clear non-technical and institutional content.

Requirements

• Significant experience supporting activities that accelerate and demonstrate the impact of academic research or promote a positive research culture.
• Experience working within a higher education institution or a similar organisational environment.
• Understanding of the higher education context and current challenges facing the sector.
• Experience meeting operational or strategic targets and deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to specialist and generalist audiences.
• Planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple work strands simultaneously.

• A degree or substantial equivalent relevant experience.
