Salary: $145,000–$195,000 base salary per year, plus lumen-denominated grants.

What you will do

• Execute and refine the payments strategy to grow monthly active accounts and payment volume on Stellar.
• Develop priority target lists and lead execution across B2B2B and B2B2C payouts, commerce, marketplaces, payment service providers, and neobanks.
• Manage strategic enterprise, fintech, payments, and crypto relationships.
• Identify and close business development opportunities related to DeFi, monthly active addresses, and asset tokenization.
• Coordinate with partnership leads to structure holistic deals across payments, RWA, and DeFi.
• Own primary OKRs focused on account growth and payment volume.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant business development experience with a record of commercial success.
• Significant experience in global payment processing, fintech, blockchain, or crypto-related roles.
• Existing senior-level relationships across enterprise, financial institutions, payment providers, fintech, and crypto ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of crypto payment systems, exchanges, blockchain technology, digital asset payments, and payment flows of funds.
• Experience developing go-to-market strategies, managing complex sales cycles, negotiating, and closing high-stakes opportunities independently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, judgment, and relationship-building skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to have

• Traditional finance institutional knowledge covering legal, regulatory, economic, and market structures across multiple geographies.
• Experience with payments, venture capital, private equity, fintech, or DeFi asset classes.
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, or Mandarin.
