Senior Director, Issuing Solutions Sales, Canada (Payments)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Toronto, Canada office; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own revenue and bookings targets across the Canadian Issuing Value Added Services portfolio.
• Develop account growth, territory, market-entry, and go-to-market strategies for Canadian issuers.
• Originate, develop, negotiate, close, and activate strategic opportunities across fraud, risk, digital enablement, loyalty, dispute, network, and payment optimization solutions.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, financial institutions, fintechs, payment processors, and ecosystem partners.
• Lead complex sales pursuits across product, consulting, pricing, finance, legal, risk, operations, client success, and sales engineering teams.
• Represent hirify.global at client meetings, industry conferences, executive forums, and Canadian payments initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 5+ years with a PhD.
• Proven success in revenue growth, commercial strategy, business development, or solution sales in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience commercializing products, services, platforms, or strategic initiatives in financial services or technology.
• Strong executive presence and experience engaging C-suite executives, boards, industry stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to lead complex multi-solution sales motions and influence alignment across highly matrixed organizations.
• Deep knowledge of the Canadian payments and financial services ecosystem, including card payments, fraud and risk, open banking, real-time payments, digital banking, and payment modernization.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of leadership experience in payments, financial services, fintech, banking technology, consulting, or enterprise technology.
• Existing relationships with Canadian financial institutions and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Experience with business case development, financial modeling, opportunity economics, and executive value articulation.
• Ability to travel regularly across Canada for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
