Sr. Manager & Team Lead, Business Banking

Location: Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada; on-site full-time

What you will do

• Build, develop, and lead a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and Associate Business Advisors.
• Grow a portfolio of high-complexity business banking clients through new business development and relationship management.
• Identify and manage credit, lending, and cash management opportunities from initial development through completion.
• Represent CIBC in the local business community through trade shows, seminars, luncheons, and community events.
• Coach employees, strengthen team capabilities, and promote effective operations, controls, compliance, and client service.
• Monitor credit quality, detect deteriorating files early, and resolve client and credit issues with internal partners.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and developing employee capabilities.
• Experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking, including credit structuring, cash management, and business development.
• Advanced knowledge of risk and credit portfolio management.
• Strong client relationship management, financial advising, lending, and local business development skills.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work on-site full-time at the specified location.
