Technical Program Manager (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Represent Operations during data center design and pre-construction, ensuring maintainability and operating standards are reflected in project deliverables.
• Coordinate commissioning activities across Engineering, Construction, EHS, commissioning agents, and third-party data center operators.
• Validate operator readiness, including procedures, staffing, training records, documentation, and site familiarization.
• Own punch lists through completion and execute structured, documented turnover to the Technical Operations Manager.
• Track readiness milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions across multiple concurrent sites.
• Coordinate tenant-facing timelines, access, operational expectations, and pre-turnover commitments where applicable.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data center operations, commissioning, or critical facilities program management.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in mission-critical environments and owning commissioning and turnover processes.
• Strong technical foundation in electrical, mechanical, and controls systems used in data centers.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent sites and stakeholder relationships with strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical complexity across organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in hyperscale or large-scale data center environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, NETA, IEC, and IEEE standards.
• Experience with formal PMO structures, construction management, critical systems commissioning, or facilities engineering.
• Military, utility, or industrial operations background.
