Sr Learning and Development Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Warden, Washington, USA plant.

Salary: $86,380–$129,570 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the design, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of plant skills capability programs.
• Direct, mentor, and develop the plant Learning and Development team.
• Develop, facilitate, and maintain workforce training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and recertification programs.
• Conduct skills gap analyses and maintain skill matrices, training materials, participation records, and qualification records.
• Coach subject matter experts and frontline leaders on instructional design, adult learning, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Track and communicate training performance metrics while partnering with shift leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Organizational Development, Operations Management, Educational Studies, Adult Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in leadership or site-level training management within manufacturing.
• Experience building and scaling learning plans, on-the-job training, skill matrices, career pathing, and skills needs analysis.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory, behavior-based training, frontline engagement, and change management.
• Ability to align Learning and Development strategies with workforce retention, safety performance, and audit-readiness KPIs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, situational leadership, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Process Quality certification or a similar manufacturing certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant learning, education, or operations discipline.
