Storage & Backup Administrator

Location: Hybrid work in Lisbon, at Expo or Colombo.

What you will do

• Administer and monitor SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage array platforms.
• Manage backup, data recovery, and backup execution monitoring.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies.
• Analyze and resolve storage and data protection incidents.
• Support infrastructure migration, expansion, and performance optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Systems, Cloud, Network, and Security teams while maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Experience administering storage and backup solutions, including SAN and NAS infrastructures.
• Experience with enterprise backup platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, or similar.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Basic knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Technical English proficiency and availability for hybrid work in Lisbon.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Storage or backup certifications.
• PowerShell or automation experience.
• Experience in hybrid and data center environments.
